Many thanks to the congregation of Thorpe Bassett Church, North Yorkshire who collected £132.00 for SASH after Jonny Smith and Emily MacGill gave a presention at evensong about their work for SASH in Haiti
Lent Lunch at St Mary's Church, Rye on 24th March 2011
Thank you to Julia Brown who orgnised a lunch, sold jams and marmalades and made a display about the work of SASH in St Mary's Church. The event attracted local shoppers and raised £350 which is now being used in Haiti.
Sophie's Skydrive
A huge thank you to Sophie Tomkins who bravely jumped out of an aeroplane to raise money for the people of Haiti and raised an astonishing £367.50p Thank you to all the people who sponsered Sophie and gave her encouragement and support.
Music Gig on Saturday 26th March 2011 at Hull University, Scarborough Campus
The gig raised £222.09p for SASH along with sales of Haiti Aid Ale, which was all sold out. A big thank you to Rob MacKay and his team and the students who supported us.
