All the money raised in our fundraising programme is spent directly on our projects in Haiti. The money that we have raised so far has been spent on buying tools to clear the rubble and build shelters, building a temporary school and our current project of funding the drilling of wells for clean water.
Our fundraisers are all busy people who have offered their skills and time to make these projects possible. We have received financial donations, church collections, money from coffee mornings and evenings, lunches and raffles, money has been raised from the sale of jams, pickles, chutneys, Christmas cards, and Haiti Aid Ale, people have received sponsorship for races, and a parachute jump, schools and colleges have organised sponsored car washes, balloon races, cake stalls, raffles talent shows and a music gig. In fact our fundraisers are pretty amazing people.
We would welcome ideas, your time, and any skills you could offer. This year we are planning a SASH Summer Spectacular on 12th July, this event is well underway and tickets will be on sale very soon. We have had some wonderful offers of help and the event promises to be an exciting and fun evening.
Wold Top Brewery continue to sell Haiti Aid Ale, Friends lunches/suppers continue to be arranged as a fundraiser. If you would like to find out more to either offer help or attend any events please get in touch.
